If you get rid of all the predators , deer overpopulate and begin killing trees and their bark where some birds need to nest. If the bark of all the trees is ripped away from hungry deer, then the trees die, and birds can't nest. So, hunting is necessary sometimes, Panda. Sure, some is game, but the town I'm in has way too many deer and not enough trees despite our woods.[endtext]

Later, when the baby started to emerge from the hedge little by little, I realized they must have been watching the birth. So I know this fawn was 2 weeks old. [endtext]
